Sri Lanka’s annual gaming festival, organized by Intel and Lanka Esports for the second consecutive time, will take place this Saturday, 12th December 2009, from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
Catering to all gaming enthusiasts, this tournament is open to both professional gamers and amateurs simply wishing to test their skills, with on the spot registrations available.With some of the world’s most popular games on offer at the tournament, such as Need For Speed, FIFA, Red Alert 3 and Unreal, the event is supported by all computer vendors at Unity Plaza - Game points will be at Netcom, Hardnet, PCtel, Sri Computers, Tech Information Systems, Barclays Trading, Asian Computers, MiTech, PCMaster and the Notebook Shop.
Striving towards the vision of empowering a generation of IT savvy individuals, this gaming festival is the second such event organized towards achieving those means, the first being the Sri Lankan leg of the World Cyber Games.
