The High Commission of Canada in Colombo has announced that applicants from Sri Lanka and Maldives will now be able to use a local service provider, TT Services, to apply for visas to Canada. Their permanent office, located at 51 A, Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 7, will officially open on Wednesday.
The opening of the Canadian Visa Application Centre is a key element in our efforts to improve the quality of our services” said Bruce Levy, the High Commissioner of Canada, “We hope that all of our applicants will take full advantage of the convenience and assistance offered by the service provider”. The Government of Canada uses Visa Application Centres to offer applicants a choice since the locations and hours of service are more convenient for applicants than those of the High Commission.
