The official mascot of the 2011 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup – an elephant – was unveiled in Sri Lanka Yesterday.

ICC Vice President Sharad Pawar and Chief Executive Officer Haroon Lorgat are in Colombowhere the launch took place. Earlier in the day, they said they were confident and happy with the security situation and preparations in Sri Lanka for the upcoming World Cup which would be held in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
